Navdeep Shrivastava Aims For The Zenith With Sierra Cloud

Navdeep Shrivastava wanted to create something special that would upend the way the service industry currently operates.

Sierra Cloud was founded to continuously innovate and dare to be different to assist its clients in achieving their goals. Its mission is to continuously innovate while daring to be unique to assist customers in achieving their goals.

A force of nature

The founders, who have more than 20 years of local IT experience, have developed multiple IT consulting businesses for major GSIs. They offer a wide range of consumer experiences in industries, including telecommunications, banking and insurance, health care, utilities, higher education, and government organizations.

Navdeep is a marketing, branding, and customer experience strategist who works with businesses to develop, create, and implement processes and strategies for the customer experience. He has more than ten years of expertise in the fields of project governance, marketing, leadership, and customer experience. Currently serving as Partner and VP of Business Operations for Sierra Cloud India, which has its headquarters in Jaipur and will soon open additional offshore centers in Pune and Hyderabad, he is responsible for all aspects of the India Offshore Center. This includes operations, hiring, partnerships, marketing, branding, customer experience, finance, and legal.

Forging genuine connections

Success, in Navdeep’s opinion, cannot be attained as a solo venture; rather, it requires a collective effort in which those who are connected to you on your path must be enabled and empowered. He has worked with companies and individuals with diverse skill sets and mindsets for the past ten years, and he believes that the only way to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives is for people to forge real connections amongst teams rather than concentrating simply on transactional interactions. He has primarily worked in operations, marketing, branding, establishing offshore ODCs, etc.

Navdeep adds, “I have always been a firm believer in enabling and empowering people to learn and grow. In setting up an Australian MNC in India, my key objective was to create an environment and platform for young graduates and working professionals, focusing on women’s empowerment and giving them an experience/opportunity to foster their skills and grow. ”



In addition to other technologies, they offer implementation services for platforms like Salesforce, Vlocity, and MuleSoft. Additionally, Sierra Cloud aids in accelerating business growth by optimizing processes and utilizing Salesforce and the surrounding technology stack to their fullest potential. Their staff is committed to helping their clients by offering a personalized approach, a strong emphasis on control and flexibility over their systems, and all of this without the high expense of upkeep.

The good, bad, and the bright

Some of Navdeep’s milestones include being named the Vodafone World of Difference Winner for 2015 and his affiliation with WICCI to promote women’s empowerment. Other accomplishments include being awarded as one of Hypedge Media’s Top 100 Influencing India Changemakers in 2022.

Things, however, did not look as bright for him in the beginning. In the formative days of his career, he worked for a company that was experiencing a severe financial crisis. He recalls that when he first started in 2013, he wasn’t paid for three months, and it was difficult to survive in those days in Mumbai. He could not ask for more money from home because he knew that his parents were battling their own wars back at home, so he spent his three months with very little money and with one meal per day, ditched public transport, and walked almost everywhere.

Even after everything, he was in his 20s when he realized perseverance is the secret to success. He truly discovered the hard way that one must simply keep working toward their goals and remain patient and consistent for everything to work out.

As anticipated, things did get better when he was given the chance to participate in the Vodafone World of Difference Program 2015 as one of the 50 winners in India.

A message he wants to get across is the idea that no task is too big or too small, and one should strive to do their best in everything they do and never let the results demotivate them because we have no control over them.
