Mohit Mittal is Building Realty Assistant into a Trust-First Real Estate Powerhouse

“Outwork yourself, outlearn the best, and outlast them all. That’s how greatness is built.”

Mohit Mittal serves as Executive Director at Realty Assistant Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s fastest-growing real estate consultancies.

With experience across real estate, sales strategy, and business development, he has played a key role in scaling the company’s pan-India operations, developer partnerships, and client experience.

About Realty Assistant

Realty Assistant provides end-to-end real estate advisory and property services, covering consultancy, asset services, valuation, sales and leasing, investment facilitation, and last-mile delivery.

The company also helps clients identify and evaluate residential and commercial property, assess tangible and intangible assets, conduct feasibility studies, and handle business sale or purchase decisions. Its model is built around a concept-to-completion approach, where the team supports clients through buying, selling, leasing, financing, investment, mortgage, and final delivery. Mohit says,

“The vision is to provide a customer-first model built on trust, transparency, and consistent execution.”

True Calling

Mohit was inspired by a simple gap he saw in real estate. Coming from an entrepreneurial background, he viewed the sector as one with plenty of transactions but very little trust, especially in the pre-RERA era. Mohit reveals,

“I channelled my entrepreneurial instinct into building a model where relationships outlast deals and clients feel genuinely guided, not sold to. That conviction that real estate should be rooted in transparency became the philosophy powering every growth decision I have made at Realty Assistant.”

A Competitive Edge

What sets Realty Assistant apart is its shift from transactional selling to experience-led advisory, a model that prioritises guidance over hard selling.

A factor that differentiates Realty Assistant apart is its insistence on in-house legal due diligence for every listing. Every transaction is vetted thoroughly, and documentation is kept fully transparent, which has helped turn trust into a business driver rather than just a brand promise. The company also goes beyond the transaction itself, offering virtual reality walkthroughs, AI-powered analytics, post-sales support, and personalised consultations as part of its standard model. That combination of transparency, technology, and end-to-end assistance is why a large share of its business.

Moreover, the business has built its edge through strategic alliances with top developers, strong regional synergies, and disciplined scaling across markets. With a footprint spanning the USA, Canada, the UAE, and the Asia Pacific, Realty Assistant is not just growing a brokerage model. They are building a larger ecosystem that is focused on trust, reach, and long-term relevance.

The Challenges

The journey has been tumultuous, and one of the biggest challenges he faced was building a trust-first culture in an industry built around quick closures.

Instead of going after external funding, Realty Assistant chose to bootstrap itself. Mohit asserts,

“We reinvested our profits into our people, our tools, and our systems, and that gave us the freedom to grow on our terms.”

He further adds,

“We had to write our own playbook. Introducing legal compliance into a previously informal sector required patience, training, and consistency. But I was resolute that shortcuts weren’t an option.”

Mohit also acknowledges that Realty Assistant had to navigate resistance to change, market volatility, and the pressure of delivering consistency across different geographies. He shares,

“What helped us is by investing deeply in people (employees & clients), building scalable systems, and letting performance speak. Driving consistent monthly bottom lines across varied markets proved that sustainable excellence always outlasts short-term shortcuts.”

The Achievements

Realty Assistant’s achievements so far include a 90% customer satisfaction score, 81% client retention, and a customer base of more than 30,000.

On a personal level, Mohit has been recognised with honours such as Economic Times Inspiring Entrepreneur of the Year, ET 35 Under 35, and Realty++ 40 Under 40, placing him among the most notable young leaders in Indian real estate.

Realty Assistant has earned widespread industry recognition, including Excellence in Real Estate Consultancy by Times Realty, Path Breaking Realtor of the Year by Dainik Jagran, Best Channel Partners & Brokers by ET Realty & The Economic Times, and Best Real Estate Consultant Residential (North) by RE/MAX & Franchise.

The company has also been recognised as a Great Place to Work and a Dream Company to Work For 2023.

Additionally, it has been featured in Livemint, Hindustan Times, and other leading publications, and has received major honours such as Best Mandate Consultant of the Year 2026, Real Estate Consultant of the Year (Commercial) at the Times Realty & Infrastructure Conclave 2025, Best Real Estate Consultants in India 2023, along with multiple awards across sales, brand, and employer recognition.

Plans Ahead

Mohit’s roadmap is built around three priorities. The first one is to work on a deeper pan-India expansion. They are also looking forward to stronger engagement with NRIs across global markets, while simultaneously building a mentor-led talent pipeline to support long-term scale.

The goal, he says, is to position Realty Assistant as India’s leading premium real estate advisory brand across every market that matters.

He also notes that they want to pivot toward sustainable development. As he says,

“We’re not just selling units. We’re enabling lifestyle upgrades, community building, and long-term ecosystem value.”

Words of Wisdom

Throughout his journey, Mohit has learned that consistency beats brilliance over time. He believes real growth comes from leading with vision, investing in relationships instead of transactions, and building teams that can carry the mission even when you are not in the room.

Mohit also makes sure to focus on long-term thinking, which can be in the form of client relationships, team building, or technology adoption. Reflecting on his journey, he also says that it is crucial to have a leadership approach that prioritises the well-being of employees and builds systems that scale.

Lastly, as he signs off, he says,

“Real estate isn’t just about square feet, but about building relationships. Marry technology with empathy, stay resilient, and success will follow, not just in business, but in making a lasting difference. I believe that real estate rewards those who respect their clients and their craft. Patience, purpose, and persistence always win.”
