Under their leadership, SNGT has expanded from a regional transport business into a diversified logistics and infrastructure group spanning surface logistics, warehousing, cargo mobility, courier services, smart storage, finance, and technology through ventures such as SNGT Logistics Pvt. Ltd., 3X Cargo Cab, SNGT Fast, Store Now, SNGT Warehousing, Nashik King Courier, and SNGT Next.
Guided by the philosophy “To Deliver Trust On Time, Every Time,” Chirag’s vision is centered on building an integrated logistics ecosystem that is structured, scalable, technology-driven, and built to create long-term impact across India.
Finding Inspiration
For Chirag, logistics was never just a business — it was a way of life. Watching his father, Rajesh Katira, dedicate himself tirelessly to ensuring every truck reached safely and every commitment was fulfilled taught him the importance of discipline, consistency, and responsibility from an early age.
As Chirag shares:
“It was not just about continuing the legacy, but transforming it. When I stepped into the business, I realised the industry was highly unorganised and heavily dependent on individuals. I saw an opportunity to bring structure, systems, and technology into a space that had immense potential but lacked scalability.”
Instead of simply inheriting a business, Chirag and his brothers chose to professionalise and modernise it for the future.

One of the biggest challenges Chirag faced was transforming a traditional, people-dependent logistics business into a structured and scalable organisation. Introducing systems, accountability, and technology into an industry that had functioned informally for decades required patience, persistence, and cultural change.
As he explains:
“Another major challenge was mindset shift, both internally and across the ecosystem. Introducing processes, accountability, and technology in a space that has functioned informally for decades is never easy. Change often meets resistance, especially when people are comfortable with how things have always been done.”
In addition to operational complexities, the business also faced challenges such as a shortage of skilled talent, price-driven competition, and maintaining service quality while scaling rapidly.
The solution was to focus on building systems over individuals, introducing technology gradually, strengthening organisational culture, and staying deeply connected to operations on the ground.
Celebrating Growth and Impact
For Chirag and the SNGT Group, success is not measured only through numbers but through consistency, trust, and long-term impact.
Today, the business has expanded into a network of 100+ branches and 300+ trucks, while developing more than 5 lakh sq. ft. of owned warehousing space. Over the years, SNGT has evolved from a traditional transport setup into a structured, process-driven logistics ecosystem spanning transportation, warehousing, cargo mobility, courier services, and storage solutions.
The company has also received 7 national awards, over 40 industry recognitions, and has been featured in more than 400 published articles. However, what stands out most is not just the scale of the business, but the trust it has built over decades.
Chirag proudly shares:

Chirag’s long-term vision is focused on transforming SNGT from a strong regional player into a national, technology-driven logistics powerhouse.
The roadmap includes building more than 1000 owned branches across India, scaling operations to handle 10 lakh parcels every day, and significantly expanding warehousing infrastructure beyond the current 5 lakh+ sq. ft.
At the same time, the company is investing heavily in fleet intelligence, automation, tracking systems, and data-driven decision-making to build a smarter and more efficient logistics ecosystem.
A major part of this vision is also the “Chalak to Malak” initiative — an empowering model designed to help drivers become owners, creating inclusive growth while strengthening the larger transportation ecosystem.
As Chirag says:
“I don’t just want to build a company, I want to build a system that keeps the nation moving. Because if the transporter stops, the nation stops, and we are here to make sure it never does.”
Lessons from the Journey
According to Chirag, one of the biggest lessons entrepreneurship has taught him is that logistics rewards discipline more than speed.
Building a business in this sector reinforced the importance of systems, patience, trust, and operational consistency. He believes lasting growth can only happen when strong foundations are built on solid ground.
For him, true transformation comes from bringing structure to chaos and creating systems that continue to perform consistently over time.
He concludes with a message for aspiring entrepreneurs:
“Don’t chase success, build value. Focus on solving real problems. Stay grounded, stay patient, and never look for shortcuts. There will be phases where nothing seems to work, but that’s exactly where your foundation is being built. Be ready to do the hard work, especially when no one is watching. And most importantly, never compromise on integrity and trust, because in the long run, trust is the only currency that truly compounds.”
