Vinti Jain and Vin Media Are Setting a New Standard for B2B Marketing Consultancy

“Trust and depth compound in a way that chasing volume never does.”

Vinti Jain is the CEO and Co-founder of Vin Media, a bootstrapped B2B marketing consultancy that partners with businesses as an extension of their internal leadership team.

Founded alongside her co-founder, Udita Jain, the agency operates on a personal CMO model that provides strategic marketing leadership rather than functioning as a traditional agency. Before founding Vin Media, Vinti earned a Master of Science in Marketing from Golden Gate University and built her career within the agency ecosystem, including her time at Zen Media.

Today, the clients Vin Media caters to are B2B companies across sectors including healthcare, technology, philanthropy, IoT, and logistics, helping brands in both the United States and India build sustainable growth through integrated marketing strategies.

The Catalyst

In a freewheeling interview with Entrepreneurs Today, Vinti shares that she was drawn in by a gap she experienced firsthand while working in the agency world. Reflecting on how the idea took shape, she says,

“Having worked in both the US and India, I noticed the same pattern on both sides. These companies didn’t need another vendor running campaigns from a distance; they needed a partner who would sit with them and take ownership the way their own leadership would. That conviction is what pushed Udita and me to start Vin Media. We didn’t want to build another agency. We wanted to build the thing we felt was missing.”

To address this gap, Vinti and her co-founder, Udita Jain, founded Vin Media with a novel approach. The agency positions itself in a competitive market by functioning as an extension of its clients’ leadership teams rather than as a conventional marketing agency. As Vinti puts it,

“We embed inside a business as if we were its own marketing department, which changes how much we care and how accountable we are for outcomes.”

Vinti also shares that rather than working with a large volume of clients, the company deliberately keeps its portfolio small so it can remain closely involved in each business and function as an extension of the company. Another core differentiator is how they operate across both the markets in the United States and India. She elaborates,

“Having operated in both the US and India, we can act as a bridge for companies moving in either direction, which very few teams our size can credibly do. Underneath all of it is one principle: we build the solution to a specific client’s needs, rather than recycling whatever worked for someone else.”

The Learning Curve

As a founder, Vinti acknowledges that when they were building the agency from the ground up, it was fairly difficult to earn trust as a bootstrapped business in an industry that is highly competitive. Without the backing of a large agency or external funding, it felt daunting to secure the first few clients. Therefore, right from the very outset, they had to focus more on proving their expertise and competence. Rather than presenting Vin Media as a full-service agency, she and her co-founder chose to work collaboratively with businesses as embedded marketing partners.

Looking back at what worked for them, Vinti highlights,

“We got around it by not pretending to be something we weren’t. Delivering real results for a handful of companies is what built our credibility, and that credibility is what let us evolve, slowly and intentionally, into the setup we run today.”

Impact in Action

“Success, to me, isn’t the number of logos on a website. It’s the depth of impact, how many companies we can embed with and genuinely move the needle for. If a business becomes more visible, more credible, and more valuable because of what we built from the inside, that’s the metric that matters.”

The company’s significant highlights so far include leading the complete market launch for a company entering India and supporting everything from market positioning to marketing-enabled sales while growing its LinkedIn presence from approximately 3,000 to 11,000 followers within a one-year period.

The company also helped another client secure its first pilot customer in a new location through marketing-led outreach. For another business, Vin Media rebuilt the brand from ground zero, restructured its product portfolio, and developed a clearer growth narrative that repositioned the company’s product line, which gave the business an edge.

Vinti further adds,

“I think what ties these together isn’t the tactics. It’s that each one started with a company whose potential no one had unlocked yet, and we became the team to do it first.”

Eyes on the Future

For now, the primary objective for the founders is to grow Vin Media sustainably while preserving the hands-on approach that Vin Media is best known for. Vinti plans to work exclusively with businesses that are building for long-term growth. She reveals,

“The plan isn’t to scale by adding names to a list; it’s to deepen what we do, strengthen the bridge we’ve built between the US and Indian markets, and keep proving that a lean, embedded team can outperform a big agency on the things that actually matter.”

With a head full of dreams for the future, she talks about the key takeaways from the journey. Over the years, Vinti has figured that trust and depth create much greater long-term value than any spurious growth. As she signs off, she draws attention,

“Starting small and embedded, instead of trying to look impressive overnight, is exactly what earned us our place. I believe it’s important to focus on the solution you bring, not the ones that worked for someone else. Your real value is in solving the problem in front of you, with the specific company in front of you. Copy a playbook, and you’ll blend in. Solve the actual problem, and you become indispensable.”
