Khushboo Mishra’s Amaya Dental is Winning Patients Over Through Education and Transparency

Dr. Khushboo Mishra is a gold medalist prosthodontist and the Clinical Director of Amaya Dental in Bangalore.

Her work is guided by a simple belief that a healthy smile can change both confidence and quality of life. Founded on the idea that “Smile pe sabka haq hai,” Amaya Dental is built around accessible, ethical, and personalised care, combining advanced dental technology with treatment that ranges from preventive dentistry to complex smile rehabilitation.

True Calling

Dr. Khushboo Mishra was inspired by what she saw in practice every day. She highlights,

“I noticed that many patients postpone dental care due to fear, lack of awareness, or the belief that dentistry is only needed when there is pain. This often leads to bigger problems that could have been prevented earlier.”

It was this that pushed Dr. Khushboo to build Amaya Dental as a space that focuses on education, prevention, and transparency as part of the treatment process. The vision was to create a patient-centric ecosystem where people felt informed, confident, and comfortable about their oral health.

A Competitive Edge

What gives Amaya Dental a unique edge is the patient-first approach to dentistry. The treatment is tailored to the needs and lifestyle of a client to make the whole process transparent and comfortable. The services are supported by advanced solutions such as Invisalign, dental implants, and digital smile design. The patients are also taught about preventive oral care. Dr. Khushboo says,

“Our philosophy, ‘Smile pe sabka haq hai,’ ensures that every patient receives not just treatment but compassion, transparency, and trust throughout their dental journey.”

The Challenges

The main challenge Khushboo faced while building Amaya Dental was earning trust in a space where many patients often associate dentistry only with pain or a need during emergencies. The process was tough, as Dr. Khushboo had to educate people on the value of preventive care while also building a patient-centered culture that did not compromise on clinical standards or technology. She reveals,

“I addressed these challenges by focusing on continuous patient education, digital awareness through social media, and community initiatives like dental camps. Over time, patients began to appreciate the value of preventive care and personalised treatment.”

Celebrating Wins

“For me, success is measured by the trust patients place in us. When patients bring their families, recommend us to friends, and return with confidence, that is the biggest achievement.”

The other milestones include successfully treating complex restorative and smile makeover cases and building a growing community of satisfied patients. Well-known for its services, today, Amaya Dental has established itself as a trusted name for quality dental care in Bangalore.

As a gold medalist in prosthodontics, she says that the journey has been rewarding, and she takes pride in helping patients regain confidence through smile transformations, which has also been one of the most fulfilling parts of her journey.

The Plans Ahead

Within the next few years, the main goal is to build Amaya Dental into a trusted dental care brand known for excellence, ethics, and patient comfort pan-India.

Some of the plans include bringing in more advanced digital dental technologies in the clinic, expanding corporate dental wellness programs and community outreach, raising awareness around preventive oral health, and expanding into multiple locations over time.

As Dr. Khushboo shares, the larger goal remains the same. She shares,

“We want to ensure that quality dental care reaches more people because truly, ‘smile pe sabka haq hai.’”

Words of Wisdom

One of the crucial lessons Dr. Khushboo learned from her journey is that purpose has to come first. She believes that when a venture focuses on genuine care for people, challenges become part of the process rather than roadblocks.

She has also learned that entrepreneurship demands patience, resilience, and constant learning, and that staying true to one’s values matters if they want to make a difference.

Lastly, she leaves a note for budding entrepreneurs, saying:

Build something that genuinely improves people’s lives. When your purpose is strong, success naturally follows. Thats why I just follow one principle- smile par sabka haq hai.”
