How a 24‑Year‑Old Founder, Misha Bhandari, is Turning Digital Storytelling into Long‑Term Brand Growth

“What people say about you when you’re not in the room is what really matters.”

Recipient of the 30 under 30 Award, 24-year-old Misha Bhandari is a content creator and the Founder & CEO of Tagged Communication, a new-age PR and communications company based in New Delhi.

Known for providing end-to-end solutions for a range of clients across domains like hospitality, lifestyle, and influencer-driven brands, Tagged Communication has worked on over 100 projects so far across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Goa, and Amritsar.

Their impressive client roster features names like Fortis Healthcare, One8 Commune, Café De Flora, Via Bianca, Begeterre, Thanks & Beyond, and more.

While looking back at how far she has come and where it all began, she tells us,

“As someone who has worked both as a PR professional and a content creator, I saw a clear disconnect between creators, brands, and communication strategy. While leading marketing for a hospitality group, I realized that most agencies were offering surface-level PR with no real long-term brand-building in mind.”

Tagged Communication was built with a vision to bring strategy back into PR, which focuses more on growing organically than on coverage.

A Competitive Edge

Striving to assimilate content, community, and communication into one cohesive narrative, Tagged Communication’s focus on not being just another branding and digital marketing agency makes them stand apart in the market.

The approach is to never fall for ineffectual trends and headlines so that the brands can benefit from strategic storytelling that is not only timeless but is also aligned with the brand’s vision.

What gives them an edge over other agencies in the market is their ability to focus on influencer-first campaigns powered by real-time insights and a deep niche in hospitality, which gives them unmatched industry depth and a creator-led perspective that helps them understand both the brand and consumer language.

Rocky Road

Founding an agency in the Indian market at the age of 24 has not been an easy feat for Misha. They had to start their journey from scratch and had to convince clients to opt for digital brand building and marketing at a time when it was not given eminence. Particularly when, as Misha says,

“Many brands saw it as a one-off activity, not a long-term strategic tool. Educating clients, proving our value through outcomes, and showing how PR can directly impact growth was an uphill task initially.”

Building a skilled team in a client-heavy space proved to be another daunting task. What helped them was having a strong relationship with their clients, being hands-on, and embracing the technologies as they evolved. Misha says that one of their mantras is to always be consistent with deliveries, which in turn brings them referrals and repeat business.

The Small and Big Wins

“The yardstick to measure success is to observe your impact, client retention, and growth, not just media impressions. We track ROI in terms of brand visibility, positioning, business leads, and long-term Relevance.”

To date, Misha has overseen more than 100 projects in her agency’s inaugural year, partnered with marquee clients such as Fortis Healthcare, One8 Commune, and Jackie Shroff, and expanded operations into four major cities within just twelve months.

Today, Tagged Communication has become the go‑to hospitality PR agency, renowned for both its results and impact. However, despite the several accomplishments under her belt, Misha shares,

“The real win, though, is seeing our clients grow and knowing we’ve played a meaningful part in that journey.”

Head Full of Dreams

Speaking of the plans for the next three years, Misha wants to transform Tagged Communications into the premier strategic PR partner for hospitality and lifestyle brands by deepening its footprint in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Goa, and Amritsar while launching new offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and key international markets like Dubai.

Simultaneously, she will draw on her creator background to develop short‑form content labs, experiential events, and UGC‑driven initiatives that extend well beyond traditional media coverage.

With a glint of hope in her eyes, Misha further adds,

“The plan is to scale, but without losing the boutique agency feel that makes us personal, agile, and deeply involved in our clients’ growth. With a solid foundation, clear demand, and a bold team, we’re ready for the next chapter.”

Words of Wisdom

One of the most significant lessons Misha has learned from her journey as an entrepreneur is to start before you feel ready, since there is no such thing as the perfect time and plan. She believes that it’s also crucial to build a brand, not a business.

While signing off, she leaves a message for the budding entrepreneurs, saying,

“Stay curious, stay consistent, and stay honest with your intent. And remember, results take time, so keep showing up, even on the quiet days.”
