In the competitive realm of marketing, where transparency and ethical practices often take a backseat, one entrepreneur dared to envision a different path. In a world where impersonal transactions have become the norm, Make Way Marketing stands out by injecting a personal touch into every interaction.

Simran Wadhwani, a dynamic entrepreneur with a passion for creative arts and a strong educational background in advertising and marketing, has carved her path as the CEO of Make Way Marketing.

MWM emerged as a pioneering venture, driven by market demand for quality and affordability. In response to multiple inquiries from their clients, the company set out to realize its need in the market, paving the way for its inception, and initiating a range of branding services for their customers.

Make Way Marketing, co-founded by Ms. Simran Wadhwani and Mr. Aishwary Galole as CEO & COO, respectively, is a rising star in the domain of media advertising and branding, specializing in helping businesses, brands, and startups achieve effective brand growth.

By providing personalized branding services and employing various mediums such as Advertising, Event Marketing, Social Media, Designing, Web Development, Digital Campaigns, and a lot more, the company has become a trusted partner for those seeking to expand their reach and influence in the digital landscape and market.

Entrepreneurial spirit

Simran Wadhwani’s journey towards establishing Make Way Marketing began at a remarkably young age. She embarked on her professional career at 17, working in the creative and performing arts domain, where she honed her skills and nurtured her passion for the arts. Combining her practical experience with her academic pursuits, Simran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), with a specialization in marketing management.

Beyond her business acumen, Simran is a multifaceted individual. She has also been a practitioner in performing arts, becoming a certified professional in these fields.

With Make Way Marketing, Simran brings her extensive experience working with people of all age groups, from teens to adults from various backgrounds and interests, to provide comprehensive marketing solutions tailored to specific needs and goals of each client. Her commitment to delivering high-quality and ethical marketing services has garnered praise and trust from a growing roster of satisfied clients.

The Dynamic Duo

Simran, on the verge of completing her master’s degree, joined forces with co-founder Aishwary to establish Make Way Marketing. Their motivation stemmed from Simran’s firsthand experience witnessing industry loopholes, drawbacks and shortcomings.

With valuable insights gained from early career engagements, they recognized unethical practices, transparency issues, and mistreatment of employees and clients. Fueled by a desire for change, they aspired to create a company that fostered warmth, harmony, and productivity in the workplace, setting new industry standards.

Aishwary and Simran’s vision for Make Way Marketing was anchored with the idea of fostering a culture of integrity, transparency, and respect. They aimed to rectify the prevalent practices and build an organization that would prioritize value creation that accelerates growth for businesses. While acknowledging the existence of both positive and negative aspects in the industry, their goal was to ensure that their company would serve as a paragon of best practices with quality output.

“We’ve always approached our clients with the belief that their brand is ours too, and that’s our biggest motivation,” shared the founders.

Driven by this vision, they recognized the need for change, aspiring to help other brands and businesses grow in a manner that upheld ethical and effective working that is affordable too. Simran’s aspiration grew from a deep-rooted desire to create an environment where respect and fairness would prevail—different to the environment she had witnessed and experienced as an employee.

A leg up over the competition: ‘Be that name where your customers find their needs and themselves in you’ – Simran

Make Way Marketing understands the importance of establishing a genuine human connection with clients. They prioritize building relationships and creating a welcoming and comforting environment, going beyond transactional interactions. This personalized approach has led to impressive results, with a significant number of clients returning for over 24 months, showcasing unwavering loyalty rarely seen today.

The secret to their success lies in the team’s genuine care, attention, and commitment, that of what an in-house team would portray to any business. In addition to professional services, they go above and beyond to foster meaningful connections and cultivate a friendly atmosphere.

Rising to the occasion: the entrepreneurial challenges

The path of an entrepreneur is laden with challenges, and Simran has encountered her fair share along the way. From the early days of working with various entities at the age of 17 to establishing her own company at 21, she has experienced countless ups and downs, emerging stronger and more resilient with each obstacle faced.

One of the primary challenges Simran confronted was carving a niche in a highly competitive market. With numerous competitors vying for attention, breaking through the noise and proving their unique value proposition was difficult.

In the fast-paced world of technology, operating in the branding domain presented additional complexities for Simran and her team. As representatives of other companies and brands, they faced high stakes. Unlike other departments, Marketing and Promotions has always served as the vital link connecting brands to the outside world, leaving no room for error.

The challenges increased when working with clients who were competitors in the same industry. Each brand required careful and unique strategies to showcase its distinctiveness. Balancing the depth and character of each brand while maintaining fairness and neutrality proved to be an ongoing challenge in terms of strategy, planning, and content curation.

Additionally, Simran grappled with the immense responsibility of managing multiple tasks and wearing numerous hats as an entrepreneur. However, with a young and powerful team of MBAs and experts, all of it just fell in place.

Achievements so far

While awards and recognition provide a sense of validation, Simran considers the impact of her hard work and the satisfaction of her clients to be the true measure of success. The ability to make a positive difference to businesses, both large and small, stands as the ultimate achievement for her and her team.

“Our team and clients proudly call themselves the MWM Family, which is our biggest achievement,” says Simran.

One notable recognition that stands as a testament to Simran’s entrepreneurial spirit is her certification as one of the top upcoming entrepreneurs at the University of Pune in 2020 under the Innovation & Incubation Center. It was a significant source of motivation during her MBA studies and the early stages of Make Way Marketing.

The company’s work has garnered recognition and praise from industry experts. However, beyond the formal accolades, the true measure of their achievements lies in the diverse range of brands and projects Make Way Marketing has successfully worked with. The company has had the privilege of collaborating with renowned names such as Deutsche Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Lakme Salon, Trimos India, The world renowned Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust of Pune, and many more esteemed global institutions.

What holds in the future – Growth Together

Simran’s future plans revolve around the core vision of Make Way Marketing: to be a space for the growth and success of other individuals, brands, and businesses. Her goal is to create a space where brands can thrive, grow, and achieve their full potential with the support and expertise of her team.

Furthermore, her personal aspirations extend beyond the growth of Make Way Marketing. She aims to inspire others through her own journey and accomplishments, and she wants to serve as motivation for individuals to pursue their dreams fearlessly and in the right manner, along with her love for mother nature, animals, and a life of holistic well-being.

Lessons learned

Following what they call a branding mantra – “Plan It, Do It, Continue It,” one key lesson Simran has learned is the importance of planning and executing ideas. Proper planning, including every aspect – people, mediums, expenses, and time management—is crucial before taking action. The next step is to physically do it, embracing the challenges and ups and downs that come with it while constantly finding solutions and learning from the journey.

Another valuable lesson is the significance of respect and humility. Respecting one’s team, colleagues, and oneself is essential while avoiding being taken for granted. She emphasizes the importance of listening to one’s subconscious mind, speaking out when necessary, and maintaining a deep sense of humility.

A Big Thank you to our parents, family, friends, teachers, colleagues and our clients for always having their faith and blessings upon us! Keep supporting!

Lastly, Simran signs off by adding, “The Power is in what you do and how you do it.”
