Raghvendra Singh is the Founder and Managing Director of MRS Green Energy. He also leads a diversified business group with interests across real estate, finance, renewable energy, infrastructure, and large-scale EPC and toll-road projects in India.
Over the years, his work has centered on building businesses with a long-term vision, sustainability, and innovation, creating value that is both enduring and meaningful. Today, he is guided by the belief that growth and responsibility must go together, with a focus on strategic thinking, strong partnerships, operational excellence, and ventures built on integrity, trust, and environmental responsibility.
The Ventures
Raghvendra’s primary business interests are concentrated across four ventures, where he provides strategic leadership and long-term direction, with a focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and value creation.
MRS Capital is the financial services arm of The MRS Group, focused on structured lending solutions that support entrepreneurs, individuals, and institutions. Since 1993, it has helped expand access to credit across Rajasthan and nearby regions. Similarly, MRS Infrastructure works across toll roads, EPC contracts, marble extraction, and infrastructure management. Its focus is on building durable assets, improving connectivity, and supporting regional growth.
Likewise, MRS Realty is a land-focused real estate firm that identifies and assembles high-potential land parcels. It supports residential, commercial, and mixed-use development through strategic land acquisition and market insight. Moreover, MRS Green Energy develops large-scale solar projects with an end-to-end execution model. It is focused on land, infrastructure, engineering, procurement, construction, and long-term project delivery.
Finding Inspiration
Raghvendra shares that he was inspired by entrepreneurship as a way to create, build, and add value at scale. He saw business not only as a path to growth, but as a way to shape industries, generate employment, empower communities, and contribute to economic development.
That belief drew him toward sectors such as infrastructure, finance, renewable energy, and real estate, all of which he viewed as powerful drivers of economic growth, employment generation, and long-term value creation. What began as a modest initiative has since grown into a diversified business group shaped by resilience, vision, and the ambition to build something lasting.
What sets his venture apart is that it is built around culture, sustainability, and long-term impact rather than commercial growth alone. Across infrastructure, finance, renewable energy, mining, EPC, toll-road development, and real estate, his focus has been on creating enterprises that preserve heritage, empower communities, and contribute to regional development.
The renewable energy portfolio, which now exceeds 1,155 MW across Rajasthan, including a 1,000 MW solar park in Bikaner, reflects that scale of ambition. He adds,
“Spread across nearly 5,050 acres, these projects are collectively powering close to 700,000 homes annually while helping avoid nearly 2 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year. Beyond clean energy generation, these initiatives contribute significantly to employment creation, infrastructure growth, and sustainable regional development.”
Reflecting on what sets them apart, Raghvendra says,
“Our key differentiator is the deep commitment to sustainability and regenerative development, large-scale renewable energy projects across Rajasthan, and long-term ecological restoration efforts. My approach goes beyond conventional development. My focus is on creating ecosystems that restore environmental balance, strengthen communities, and promote long-term well-being while remaining economically sustainable.”
Rocky Road
Raghvendra’s journey has brought the challenges of building across multiple capital-intensive sectors, including market volatility, regulatory complexity, financing pressures, and the demands of executing large-scale projects.
The pandemic was one of the most testing periods, where resilience and adaptability were pushed to the limit.
He navigated that by staying focused on people, maintaining stakeholder confidence, and making disciplined long-term decisions. Over time, the bigger challenge has been to keep evolving with changing markets, whether through new technology, sustainability-led development, or identifying opportunities in regenerative and future-oriented sectors.
“The key to overcoming challenges has been resilience, strategic planning, and the ability to remain focused on long-term value creation rather than short-term outcomes. Equally important has been the willingness to evolve with time, whether through adopting new technologies, embracing sustainability-led development, or identifying emerging opportunities in sectors such as renewable energy and regenerative communities. Every challenge has strengthened my conviction and helped me become more agile, disciplined, and future-oriented.”
Celebrating Wins
“Success for me is the long-term impact I create, the trust I build with stakeholders, and the sustainability and resilience of the institutions developed. I believe true success lies in creating businesses that generate economic value while also contributing positively to communities, culture, and the environment.”
Among his key milestones is a renewable energy portfolio of over 1,155 MW across Rajasthan, including a 1,000 MW solar park in Bikaner, which is contributing to India’s clean energy transition while supporting employment and regional development.
Plans Ahead
The plans ahead are focused on building the business into a globally recognised enterprise with a strong presence across renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, and regenerative development.
While his roots remain deeply connected to India, the vision is to create institutions and brands that can compete and create impact on a global scale.
At the core of that ambition is a longer-term goal of building businesses that are not only commercially successful but also contribute to sustainability, cultural preservation, and long-term human and planetary well-being.
Words of Wisdom
Raghvendra says one of the biggest lessons from his journey is that lasting success comes from consistency, patience, and the ability to stay steady through difficult phases.
For him, entrepreneurship is not a short-term pursuit but a long-term process of learning, adapting, and building with discipline. He believes vision matters more than quick wins, and that meaningful businesses are built on credibility, trust, integrity, and people who share the same values.
Lastly, as he signs off, his advice is,
“Remain adaptable and open to innovation. The world is changing rapidly, and entrepreneurs who combine traditional wisdom with modern thinking will be best positioned to create an enduring impact. Most importantly, never be afraid of failure or setbacks. Every challenge carries a lesson, and perseverance often becomes the defining factor between success and giving up.”
