Imagine an art gallery where you can walk in wearing anything, from any social background, and still walk out with 20 to 40 artworks to try at home without a hint of judgment.
AnYahh!! Art Galleries are already making it happen.
Is Art Only for the Elite?
Twenty-seven years ago, the Sethi family was turned away from an art gallery by someone who thought they didn’t look “elite” enough to be buyers. Aryaman had no clue that this moment would carve his entire life’s mission to educate and empower anyone who fancies art through AnYahh!! Art Gallery.
Aryaman feels that most people shy away from buying art because they feel like they don’t know how to and that no one ever taught them how to choose, spot what’s real, or know if it’s fairly priced. For those unfamiliar with the art world, it either feels too expensive and abstract or just too complicated.
This made Aryaman set out to build a chain of art galleries that would flip the industry’s narrative, proving that affordability doesn’t have to mean compromise. Today, with 167 permanent artists and four physical galleries across Delhi and Dubai, with London on the horizon, Aryaman Sethi heads one of the largest accessible art galleries in the world. He further reveals,
“I grew up immersed in the family business, but my formal education is in global management: I earned my undergraduate degree from SP Jain School of Global Management in Sydney. After returning to India, I completed online certificates in art grading and pricing, as well as a year-long diploma in interior design through Harvard Business School Online. Those courses gave me both the technical know-how and the passion to revolutionise how art is bought and sold in India.”
Buying into the Experience
Aryaman estimates that only 2 to 2.5 percent of his clients are true collectors; the rest are everyday people, those who’ve just moved into a new home, completed a renovation, and want a piece that truly means something.
He believes first-time buyers should be equipped with the hows and whys of art and how to tell an original from a print, how to hang or clean a painting, and even the basics of building a collection. To make Art Education accessible, the team is turning to social media, creating content that makes art feel less intimidating and more inviting.
And his approach of putting education before sales has shortened the “gestation period” of buying a first painting, from five years to just a few months.
He guides buyers through choices of size, color, and story, and even shows them how to hang, light, and care for their pieces. Because once someone understands the why behind a work, they’re no longer just purchasing a painting but taking home a piece of meaning.
The Expansion
Aryaman stepped into the gallery in 2015, but it was between 2017 and 2018 that he truly turned the page, steering its digital leap with an online gallery and expanding in Dubai.
Today, he stands as the lone Sethi carrying the vision to make people fall in love with art before they ever think about buying it. It’s this philosophy that’s pulled in curious passersby and turned casual visitors into engaged audiences, making the gallery feel less like a hushed sanctuary and more like a living, breathing space.
Another USP at AnYahh is the transparency in the pricing that makes every artwork inevitably tangible. Every piece now wears its price openly, calculated per square foot based on the artist’s market value. Aryaman says,
“This transparency has stamped out the old system of arbitrary markups, where galleries would inflate prices based on a visitor’s appearance or perceived budget.”
This move sliced through the velvet-rope mystery that’s been a “norm” in art buying for decades, replacing it with clarity, fairness for everyone.
Aryaman’s roots in art, paired with his love for creating the new, gave him an edge. Balancing business and his love for music, he knows firsthand what it means to live like an artist.
The Artists of AnYahh!! Art
An artist himself, Aryaman knows the uphill climb every newcomer faces.
“Like art, music has been part of my life since I was four years old. I started playing piano back then. At one point, I was doing 35–40 gigs per month. But, like visual artists, emerging musicians often struggle to find platforms. So by day I’m an art gallery director; by night I’m a musician. It’s a constant juggle, but I see myself as an art connoisseur and businessman by day and a performer by night.”
With a vision to make things easier for artists and people alike, AnYahh!! Art is built as a stage for emerging and talented artists. A dedicated team of seven carefully reviews every submission, diving into each artist’s journey to see if it resonates with their vision.
Through their The Hartful show, they spotlight these journeys, a platform that’s played a big role in uncovering raw, genuine talent. And while there are five filters to pass before becoming an AnYahh!! Artist, Aryaman’s love for original, unfiltered art hasn’t dimmed one bit.
With names like Jitendra Dangi and Ajay Samir, AnYahh!! Art Galleries stands tall, home to an astounding artist base. Aryaman says the featured artists are chosen based on exhibition history, strength of body of work, mentorship, full-time commitment, and a balance between young and slightly more seasoned talent.
Through the Years of AnYahh!! Art
With galleries in Delhi and Dubai running seamlessly for over a decade, AnYahh!! Art has had its fair share of storms to weather.
For them, the greatest hurdle lies in the quiet intimidation people still feel towards art. Equally daunting is the intricate work of logistics that art galleries and dealers must master to keep their worlds turning. And yet, for AnYahh!! Art, the shifting tides of customer behavior remain the truest test.
The Accolades
AnYahh!! Art Galleries have earned widespread recognition in the art world, with features in Inside Out magazine, The Times of India, and The Hindustan Times. In 2024, Time Out Dubai named them the Best Art Gallery in Dubai, an honor they had also received previously.
Apart from gracing the pages of magazines, AnYahh!! Art has made its mark on the exhibition circuit, with over 17,000 showcases as of 2025. With 26,000+ artworks in their collection, they proudly hold the title of the world’s largest affordable art gallery.
AnYahh!! Art also offers free art consultations to anyone seeking guidance, whether or not they buy a single piece. And in a gesture, they allow customers to take home 20 to 40 artworks on trial, letting the walls decide what truly belongs there.
The Future of AnYahh!! Art
With their sights set on London for this February, they aim to become the “Amazon of art” in the years to come.
More than a clean plan or a set goal, it is yet another work of art, shaped by their love for creation and enduring passion for art itself.
The Takeaways
One of the crucial lessons Aryaman has learned in his journey is to embrace every decision, as no move is wrong until you decide it is. He believes in taking risks and learning from the outcomes. He also asserts that it’s never too late to start over, and even if you do, you can always start over. Lastly, as he signs off, he says,
“I advocate dedicating yourself to one core pursuit. If you must juggle passions, do so sparingly and keep your vision clear.”
